Laine Halpern Zisman, PhD (she/her) is a queer doula (@QueerConceptions) who specializes in fertility support, focusing on LGBTQ+ advocacy, education, and support navigating family building journeys. She provides fertility support through Birth Mark Toronto and is a doula with Perinatal Wellbeing Ontario. Laine is also a performance, media, and communications scholar and has published and taught on a range of topics related to queer theatre & media, activism & intergenerational trauma, and critical queer feminist theory.
