About

Cathy graduated with an Honours Degree in Kinesiology at University of Waterloo in 1986. In the years that followed, she furthered her knowledge gaining certifications as a Massage Therapist , NASM Personal Trainer , Certified Fitness Appraiser and Fitness /Spinning / Pilates Instructor.

Education and Certifications
Her work experience included various settings: as a Rehabilitation Kinesiologist in private physiotherapy clinics, as a Fitness Director at a Tennis and Racquet Clubs, Freelance Personal Trainer, and as a Massage Therapist and owner of Living Fit a Spinning and Pilates studio.

After years of helping people of all ages recover their ability to move better and improve their health she expanded her skills and knowledge and studied the art of Osteopathy at the CAO in Hamilton and graduated as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner in 2013.

Her passion for human movement and its impact on our state of well being has led her to continue post graduate studies in the field of Sensory Motor Development , Neuroplasticity, Biodynamics, and Foundational Movement Patterns.

Approach to Care
Cathy’s clinical focus has been towards working with newborns - 3 yrs and mothers pre and post pregnancy. This is a critical time period with the opportunity to impact their infants growth and development.

Her clinic experience with her varied knowledge base has inspired her to create a unique approach to treating the challenges of mothers and newborns as well as supporting those who would like to optimize the opportunity for optimal growth and development of their newborn.
